However, from my experience, you don’t need to play a tier 1/2 deck to have good results in MTGA ranked (at least in BO1 which does not correspond to tournament condition).
Therefore, building an elf deck could end as a big waste of wildcards if you never manage to get correct results with it. First of all, as the other have said, there are no tier 1 elves decks in the current standard.
